May 21 The greatest scandal in political history and the media were 100% wrong

So, where are the acknowledgements of this calamitous fiasco? The press leaps upon political failures, ineptitudes or malfeasance like a hungry tiger on a stray fawn. It demands commissions and inquiries and hearings “so this kind of thing will never happen again.” It demands penalties, and exposure, and a full record of which things were wrong.
Well what’s sauce for the political goose should be sauce for the journalistic gander. Let’s have a commission of inquiry into how the media got the story so wrong.

He tells me in an interview on my Strang Report podcast that the quarantine laws that French President Emmanuel Macron has set in place are 10 times stricter than anything going on in the U.S. To go out of your house in France, you need a special permit, and if you don't have one and you're caught outside, you will get a fine of $150. If you're a repeat offender, the fine increases tenfold—$1,500. And if you're caught a fourth time, you'll go to jail for six months.

"It's absolutely extraordinary," Timmerman tells me. "And what I find most extraordinary of all is how willing the French people—who are normally pretty feisty and whom you would not consider sheep—how willing they have been to go along with this and shut down the whole economy, just to save the hospital system because that's what they're being told by the leadership here. May 12 Tough questions

What would you say if one political party in Canada tried for 3 years to illegally destroy the Prime Minister? 

If that party were able to use the RCMP, CSIS, Canada Revenue--the whole power of the federal government to spy on--collect all phone calls, emails, texts, social media etc. to find 'dirt' they could use against the Prime Minister?

If they succeeded in making false charges against his supporters who end up bankrupted and jailed?

If most of the media broadcast the lies, knowing they were lies, non-stop for three years (the COVID treatment) because they wanted the other political power to "win"?

If true, would you or any Canadian be safe?

If all of the above happened, and were proven beyond doubt, what should be done?

Sharyl talks about corruption in the "news" industry. She describes how for reasons of money and power, reporters, so-called, often publicly smear people to discredit and destroy them if they challenge or contradict the story media wants to tell.

One story they clearly want to tell is how fearful we all need to be about COVID, though there is plenty of evidence that, as with HIV AIDS, they are way overselling it. Another story they have told endlessly is how evil and awful President Trump is. Most people in Canada have no specific information about anything good the President has done. They do have strong feelings about him--he is racist, sexist, a war monger, stupid, reckless, mentally ill and so on. Lots of people will label him and point to one or two things the media has put in front of them. 

Many people believe these claims about President Trump. They have no evidence, but they think they know because "everybody knows" it's true. And everybody "knows" because massive media and celebrity repetition tells them it's true. What I am going to show you today, they wouldn't spend ten seconds watching; if somehow they were forced to watch the whole 10 minutes, they would just angrily dismiss it. 

The Democrat Party with the help of almost all of the major media and the Obama CIA, FBI, DOJ,  and State Department have been spying on and lying about President Trump before and after his election in 2016. They persecuted, bankrupted, and jailed friends of the President and have done everything possible to illegally remove him from office.

May 7: The limits to legitimate authority

The theme today is proper authority. In any society, some things may be legal, but that does not mean they are morally right. Example: abortion is legal. But it is legalized murder. 


Today, we'll look at two cases: Sharyl Attkisson has tried to get justice through the US legal system for more than 7 years without success. She can prove the government illegally spied on her.

In California, a couple days ago, many people 'illegally' protested against the Governor's authority to keep them locked down and out of work. The police, in full riot gear, roughed up a pastor and were ready to attack the protesters.

First, Sharyl:

1.What do you think happened to the optical cable that was found on Sharyl's roof and stored in her garage? What was fishy about the incident?

2.Sharyl has been fighting the US government in court for 8 years to admit that she was illegally spied on. She even has a former FBI agent who was spying on her testify in court. Yet, the Department of Justice keeps fighting her. How serious is this? How serious is the fact that no major media are supporting Sharyl?

Now, Californians:

1. How do you think the Doctor with the bullhorn handled the situation? 

2. Do you agree that individual police have to decide if an order is both lawful and moral? Should they be prepared to refuse orders and risk their jobs?

May 7 Sharyl Attkisson has been suing the US government since 2013: here's an update after 7 years in court

There has been a lot of water under the bridge since 2013 when CBS News first publicly announced the forensic evidence proving I was victimized by a long-term, remote effort to illegally spy on me and my CBS work through my computers. (You can watch the original news story in the video attached).

A half dozen independent forensics exams later, with uninvited government IP addresses definitively identified as pathways into my computers, with forensic testimony from a former NSA specialist, with a sworn statement of confirmation from a former FBI Unit chief, and with a former federal agent confessing to being part of the government’s illegal spy operation against me and many other U.S. citizens, it is reasonable to ask: Is the Department of Justice (DOJ)  alarmed by the shocking injustices and crimes? Is DOJ interested in holding accountable the federal agents who are responsible? Is DOJ concerned with making sure the activity has stopped and does not happen to others?

Apparently not.
 
Going on seven years now, the DOJ remains precisely where it started: in huddle down and cover up mode. Rather than acknowledge the forensic evidence and dig deeper to identify all of the agents who touched the illegal operation and all of the victimized Americans, and rather than being incensed by the confession of a former federal agent who admitting spying on me, DOJ has used unlimited taxpayer dollars to block pursuit of the facts.

In a just or fair system, the DOJ would not have searched for legal excuses to dismiss the lawsuit I filed to bring the abuses to light… in fact, there would be no need for me to pursue a civil court case because the DOJ would have already prosecuted the guilty parties.

Yet here we are. 

The fact is, DOJ is the entity that is supposed to administer law and order in our country. DOJ should be prosecuting the guilty federal agents. Yet DOJ officials were the ones who employed and tasked the guilty federal agents.

As Senator Ron Johnson pointed out in a recent letter to the DOJ and FBI, both agencies have stonewalled for six years refusing to answer basic questions about the intrusions into my computers. Instead, when they have responded at all, it has been to avoid the questions and replace them with answers to questions never asked.

It is no surprise to me that the Inspector General recently flagged FBI and DOJ officials for egregious misconduct involving government surveillance of former Trump campaign associate Carter Page, that an FBI lawyer allegedly doctored documents to wiretap Page, that DOJ has had to admit at least two wiretaps against Page should never have been granted, and that the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court belatedly ruled the wiretaps were invalid. All of that is a little late. Page cannot recover his privacy or his reputation. 

We could have seen this coming had we paid attention to the red flags and demanded real accountability. We already knew DOJ secretly subpoenaed phone records of Associated Press reporters and surveilled then-Fox News reporter James Rosen. We had discovered that our own Director of National Intelligence James Clapper gave false testimony to Congress denying the government was conducting mass surveillance of tens of millions of Americans. We knew, thanks to NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, that our intel community had granted itself wide latitude to spy on U.S. citizens suspected of nothing at all through tactics such as “incidental” surveillance. We knew that communications of U.S. political figures were captured by intelligence officials and improperly leaked to the press. Incredibly, we even knew the CIA had gotten into computers of Senate Intelligence Committee staffers, though CIA head John Brennen initially denied it. Brennan and Clapper eventually apologized for the lapses. A little late for that, too.

It is becoming more obvious than ever how all of this fits together. Also obvious is the likelihood that the abuses we know about today are only a small slice of what may have really occurred — and what may continue to occur. It would explain the otherwise inexplicable double standards we are growing accustomed to. DOJ leaves no stone unturned pursuing the likes of Carter Page as a Russian spy only to have their suspicions revealed to be a figment of their imaginations. Yet provable crimes happening right under their own noses, sometimes committed by their own agents, are conveniently deposited down a memory hole like they never even happened.

It is in the hands of an independent news media to hold the powerful accountable. They could press until the abuses are addressed, the perpetrators held accountable, and the guilty brought to justice. But there is no such interest.

I have a feeling that if Trump administration intel officials ever got accused of illegally spying on journalists and hundreds of citizens through an illegal operation via computers, even without the forensics we have, even without the confession we have, it would still make international news and the media would not let go of it until heads really did roll. As for me? I was unlucky on two counts: I got targeted by the government in the first place, and I was spied on by an administration whom the press did not wish to admit would do such an unthinkable thing.

I once read about an ancient form of government whose premise was that an orderly society was only possible if its citizens had confidence that the law would be applied equally to the poorest and richest among them. Things would devolve into chaos if the citizenry came to believe people were held to different standards or escaped accountability depending on their power or status. Considering the course of my case, it is hard to look at our system today and not wonder if we are reaching that point.

A few years ago, several members of Congress who were concerned about intelligence community abuses told me they had been convinced not to call for wholesale reforms and heads-on-a-platter by the argument that it would “undermine the public’s faith in our institutions.” I think there is a strong argument to be made that the public is losing faith in our institutions because it sees double standards and absence of accountability.

As incredible as it seems, all of our forensic proof, expert testimony and even the confession may not matter. The way the game is played, a jury may never have the chance to see any of that simply because the other side has more lawyers, deeper pockets and all the power. However, we are exhausting all avenues and remedies, looking for glimmers of hope, and continuing to expose the facts— because the fight is too important.

But we know one thing for certain: the abuses surrounding my case are deeply symbolic. It they are dismissed and forgotten, we can certainly expect more of the same.

May 5th Fast and Furious: one of many invisible scandals, thanks to media not telling the public

Background: Mexico itself is controlled by powerful drug gangs called cartels. They smuggle millions of illegal aliens across the border along with massive amounts of drugs like fentanyl from China, cocaine, and heroin. The Obama government at the highest level: President Obama and his Attorney General, Eric Holder, planned and authorized this operation.

Yet when Sharyl and a few other reporters tried to expose the whole truth, two things happened:

1. Obama claimed "executive privilege" when the Republicans asked for all correspondence between him and Holder. A President has the legal right to hide documents from the public.

2. Sharyl and a few other journalists had strange things happen, including penetration of their computers and threats. 


  • Sharyl's stories were not broadcast any more on CBS. David Rhodes, president of CBS news division is brother of Obama's close advisor, Ben Rhodes.
“The average reporter we talk to is 27 years old, and their only reporting experience consists of being around political campaigns,” the oddly incautious Obama foreign policy adviser Ben Rhodes boasted of the Iran con job. “We created an echo chamber. They were saying things that validated what we had given them to say.”
  • The government broke national and international law allowing criminals to purchase guns AND traffic them into another country, without telling Mexico they were doing that.
  • The government punished the whistleblowers who told congress and Sharyl what they new: they were ATF agents who were ordered to let the guns be trafficked into Mexico.
  • The government told gunstore owners to allow sales of dozens of expensive powerful weapons to known criminals, when the owners called and asked for advice.
  • The government intimidated, spied on, and broke into reporter's private computers. Finish reading the introduction and read the "Fast and Furious" chapter.
  • The government lied under oath many times.
  • The Attorney General was held "in contempt of Congress" for witholding documents from the House Oversight Committee that is responsible for investigating such matters.

  • The government claimed that only a low level officer in Phoenix Arizona authorized the operation.
  • Most of the news media were not interested in any of the above.

There are only 2 possible reasons why the Obama government did this:

1. They truly believed that this would be an effective way to track down drug cartels by planting gps devices on the guns. If true, it was very badly mishandled. They found no gps information.

or

2. They wanted to blame US gun store owners when these weapons were found at the scene of crimes in Mexico and the US. Then, they would have the perfect excuse to ban the guns and shut down the stores, something they could never get done legally because there are not enough votes to change gun laws.

What they did was illegal in the USA and Obama broke international law. It resulted in hundreds of deaths in both Mexico and the USA. The Obama government was never held responsible.
