May 5th Fast and Furious: one of many invisible scandals, thanks to media not telling the public

Background: Mexico itself is controlled by powerful drug gangs called cartels. They smuggle millions of illegal aliens across the border along with massive amounts of drugs like fentanyl from China, cocaine, and heroin. Drug smuggling is a global criminal business worth trillions. In this video, you will see how a small town in Texas, controlled by a cartel, is trying to figure out who is on their territory. I show this to you because it is necessary to know how dangerous the border is and how insane the Obama government was to sell powerful weapons to these criminals.

Who authorized sending thousands of deadly weapons to criminals in Mexico?

The Obama government at the highest level: President Obama and his Attorney General, Eric Holder, planned and authorized this operation.

Yet when Sharyl and a few other reporters tried to expose the whole truth, two things happened:

1. Obama claimed "executive privilege" when the Republicans asked for all correspondence between him and Holder. A President has the legal right to hide documents from the public.

2. Sharyl and a few other journalists had strange things happen, including penetration of their computers and threats.

  • Sharyl's stories were not broadcast any more on CBS. David Rhodes, president of CBS news division is brother of Obama's close advisor, Ben Rhodes.
“The average reporter we talk to is 27 years old, and their only reporting experience consists of being around political campaigns,” the oddly incautious Obama foreign policy adviser Ben Rhodes boasted of the Iran con job. “We created an echo chamber. They were saying things that validated what we had given them to say.”
  • The government broke national and international law allowing criminals to purchase guns AND traffic them into another country, without telling Mexico they were doing that.
  • The government punished the whistleblowers who told congress and Sharyl what they new: they were ATF agents who were ordered to let the guns be trafficked into Mexico.
  • The government told gunstore owners to allow sales of dozens of expensive powerful weapons to known criminals, when the owners called and asked for advice.
  • The government intimidated, spied on, and broke into reporter's private computers. Finish reading the introduction and read the "Fast and Furious" chapter.
  • The government lied under oath many times.
  • The Attorney General was held "in contempt of Congress" for witholding documents from the House Oversight Committee that is responsible for investigating such matters.
Holder grilled by Congress: for the sixth time; denies knowing, refuses to turn over documents

  • The government claimed that only a low level officer in Phoenix Arizona authorized the operation.
  • Most of the news media were not interested in any of the above.

There are only 2 possible reasons why the Obama government did this:

1. They truly believed that this would be an effective way to track down drug cartels by planting gps devices on the guns. If true, it was very badly mishandled. They found no gps information.

or

2. They wanted to blame US gun store owners when these weapons were found at the scene of crimes in Mexico and the US. Then, they would have the perfect excuse to ban the guns and shut down the stores, something they could never get done legally because there are not enough votes to change gun laws.

What they did was illegal in the USA and Obama broke international law. It resulted in hundreds of deaths in both Mexico and the USA. The Obama government was never held responsible.

Questions:

1.Should this have been a story that all media reported ie. should it have had the COVID 19 treatment?

2.Comment on any of the above that you find shocking. Explain.

1. It definitely should have been a story that got COVID-19 style coverage. It is not okay for people to vote for a president that they don't even know is partaking in illegal activity. In one sense, it doesn't need the consistent daily reports that COVID gets, unless it was a developing story, like COVID. Instead, it should get a couple days of hard, strong coverage to make sure everyone knows the truth. But of course, the media must protect the democrats, or the liberal "conservatives" while making the Republicans look bad. It has to be politically correct.

2. I find it shocking that the average person probably never heard of this scandal. It is basically the law going against itself. How is anybody supposed to follow the law, if the lawmakers aren't following it themselves? Secondly, the fact that the government lied, and under oath, is really disappointing. If they can't be trusted in a matter of this size, who's to say we can trust them in any way, shape, or form.

1. I definitely think that this story should have been covered similarly to how COVID 19 was/is covered. People need to know about these things and be careful about who the let have access to their information. Also, they need to know this so that if they are experiencing similar things with their own computer/phoneline they can get professional help. The people need to stay safe. As far as the Fast & Furious scandal, the people of America need to know about it. They need to know that the president they voted for is lying and they need to know that there is a real threat coming from Mexico and it is America's fault for giving them guns.

2. I find it shocking that the guns they found in possession of the Mexican gangs, came from America, and that the government lied about it. I also think that it is shocking that they tapped Sharyl's phone and went rifling through her computer. That is rude and appaling.

1. I think this story should have been reported by the big news media. Mainly because it included the US President. I don’t think that it should have had the same treatment that COVID-19 has been getting because the gun scandals do not affect everyone in the US, never mind the world. Yes, it involves the President and people should know that the President they elected was not the person they perhaps thought, but it does not put them as citizens in real danger, such as COVID does. However, I do think it should have been reported because Americans must know the state and mind of their president (at the time).
2. The most thing I find shocking is that Sheryl and other journalists had strange activity on their computers. This worries me because the government was not only trying to control and run the public, but also the personal lives and jobs of these reporters, off and on the job. This is frightening because the government should be one that you can trust, rather in this circumstance, it is quite the opposite. Moreover, it is worrisome because they are using technology, which is supposed to advance and help the world, against them. They are really using it as a way to wipe them out and scare them out of their job. Likewise, it is terrifying that the government was getting access to the computers and trying to spy on the journalists. This is not what your government should be doing, never mind a supposed rightist, conservative government.
