Ours is a terrible era of mixed messages for young non-Christian men and women.
On the one hand, popular culture is infected with sexual messages. Example: J-Lo and Shakira's Superbowl half-time show. Message: it's so cool to be hot. Example from 'real life': college kids on spring break.
The pop culture message is basically, more sex with more people = more fun!
But the campus message college kids will 'learn' in school is not so free and easy. Message: sex is ok if you follow this basic rule: You need consent. Consent is in possession of females.
And the q and a must go on.
The next day if, for whatever reason, the female decides she is unhappy, she may present a 'no consent' complaint to the campus 'rape crisis' center. And that will be pretty much game over for the male.

- Is inviting someone to your bedroom, consent? No
- Is asking a female if she would accept a kiss and being told "Yes", consent? Maybe. But if that person has had a drink, it might not actually be consent.

What the media has done to males is astounding, In fact, what our culture is doing to males is astounding. I have family friends, whose parents were separated for a while because the man-- who had already two children with his wife-- ( it was actually his doing) ran off and started dating another woman. There was no sexual acts in this relationship but the father realized what he was doing, and truly repented of his sins, moved back in with his wife, who showed him love during the whole ordeal. A little while later they moved to Greenville, South Carolina-- from Ireland-- for a better life there. One Christmas they were visiting their home in Ireland, when police officers arrested him and he was accused of rape from the woman he ran of with. This woman--my parents know her--was known for lies and accusations. This man has had to leave his family and sit in court for over 2 years now with no hope of ever returning to his family. The Court has given no plan to relieve him, because of course, why question the woman, the man is always accused. The only hope we can give these christians is that God will give his justice in the final days and he will bless us for what we do in his will.
I think that it is true that sexual harassment goes both ways. Whether it is actual sexual harassment, or whether it is accused harassment from another party I think that both can be considered sexual harassment. Whether they are Christian or not, I think that everyone is somewhat affected by the mixed messages. I think that we could present the gospel by using all of the instances where God uses someone who was hurting and broken, and made them new and fulfilled his plan through them. Also that God does not blame them for what happened to them and he loves them and will care for them. Also that in our belief, only one man should marry one woman and they will be joined as one, meant to care for each other all the days of their life.
