April 1 So cute

Imagine this is on a popular kids' t-shirt. Let's say lots of kids are wearing the shirt and big stores like Walmart are selling it.

You're a mom or dad, big brother or sis; how do you feel about this?

What might you do?

Who or what would you be angry with?

I think this the first line is kind of cute, and I if i was a parent I might even buy it for my child if it was just the first line, and the child knew that it is wrong to say stupid lol. So basically if the shirt was censored lol. But the second line turns the shirt from a joke to a reality, and not funny anymore, and in some places this is actually what is happening. But if the shirt was censored I'd buy it for my kid lol, without the word stupid, maybe silly.

I agree with Anna, if it was just the first line it is cute and harmless, the second line makes it more serious, I think that it may also be cue but I also think that I would only let my child wear that, if they knew never to throw rocks, if they knew that both genders are equal, and if they really wanted to wear it, if they didn't want the shirt, why get it. Also if it was a popular trend, I would want to make sure that all the kids who are wearing it are wearing it for the right reason, if they are wearing it because they want a reason to throw rocks, I would not let my kid wear that shirt. If I were to get angry at anyone it would be the mothers and the fathers for not raising their kid to know the truth. But honestly I think that the question who would you be angry with is kind of loaded, do we need to be angry if all of the kids wearing it are only wearing it because it is the most comfortable t-shirt for sale right now?

It is totally unacceptable to have a shirt like that in today's culture! So why is it okay to have shirts with males on it? Its this kind of stuff that makes me embarrassed about the society we live in.
